Doctor Amir Natche is the father of Benny Natche. He makes an appearance during the episode Fathers and Sons, during which Benny is arrested for aggravated assault after brutally beating his boss, Brian Harris, with a blunt object.
Benny resists any help that Jake and Mal Doyle, and even his father, try to offer. This leads Amir to attempt to get himself arrested by getting intoxicated and throwing bottles at police officers.
Upon hearing of his father's arrest, Benny hints at why he's not being co-operative. However, Jake and Mal are able to gather enough evidence and piece them together to figure out what's going on.
It is revealed that upon hearing of Teresa's affair, Brian attacked Benny. In his defence, Teresa struck Brian with a blunt object. In order to protect Teresa, Benny took the blame and was arrested. However, since Teresa acted in self-defence, she and Benny were released without charges.
