Expansion is the fifteenth and first part of the two part finale of season 5 and the sixty-sixth episode of the series.
Summary[]
Jake and Mal investigate death threats at the airport targeting construction magnate, Elsa Tessier (Kaitlyn Leeb), which quickly turns explosive. While on the trail of Elsa’s attacker, they encounter ruthless bookie Harley Denief (Olunike Adeliyi), who’s now running with Elsa’s dangerous rival, Blake Brogan (Jason Gray-Stanford). Controversial former Mayor William Cadigan Clarke (Rick Roberts) is released from prison a changed man with scores to settle and a grudge against Leslie and Jake. Leslie and Jake work closely together to uncover Clarke’s plans. Meanwhile, Rose and Des discover something missing from the Doyle office safe. At the station, Leslie gets off on the wrong foot with new police Inspector Valerie O’Brien (Natasha Henstridge).
