Constable Monica Hayward was a replacement for Leslie Bennett while she was undercover. Monica eventually developed a hatred for Jake Doyle and made it her mission to bring him down.

Monica tends to have a hatred towards Leslie Bennett. She tends to give duties to her superiors, often getting her sent on the duties she demanded. Monica states that Leslie is giving Jake "special treatment", while letting him off the hook multiple times for his troubles. She attempted to sabotage Leslie many times, which ended up getting her transferred to a new post.
